About Lantern & Kite

A home for ideas that are worth following.

Lantern & Kite is the parent company behind today's public destinations: WonderInLife Apps, Wonder of Life Publishing, and WonderInLife Digital, presented publicly as WILDigital. The company is built to let future ideas find the form and home that fit them best.

Lantern
&
Kite

It started with one idea. Then another joined it.

Lantern & Kite exists because not every worthwhile idea belongs in the same box. Some ideas want to become books. Some want to become software. Some want to become something a family prints at the kitchen table, a creator edits for a business, or a child turns into a world on the floor.

The parent company gives those ideas somewhere to grow without making them all look or behave alike — and without trapping a good idea in the first format it takes. What connects the work is not one medium. It is a shared standard: thoughtful, useful, imaginative work made with actual people in mind.

Founder

Megan Talcott

Lantern & Kite grew from a habit of following ideas past the point where they were supposed to stay in one category. Megan founded the company to give stories, software, creative products and future experiments one home without forcing them to become the same thing.

She leads Lantern & Kite across its current public destinations while keeping the question behind the work simple: what is this idea trying to become, and is it worth sending into the world?

We are not trying to fill shelves, screens or storefronts. We are trying to make things worth keeping.

Where ideas take flight.

Not because every idea should become something — but because the right ones deserve the chance.

That is what Lantern & Kite is here for.
